Breaking Barriers: Off-campus options for DACA and Students with Various Immigration Statuses

International Education continues to broaden access for non-traditional students, but access for those with various immigration/documentation statuses continues to be limited due to lack of information and awareness among international education staff. This session will separate facts from myths, share institutional programs and policies that support access to international and off-campus opportunities, and provide tools for advising DACA students, permanent residents, and asylees/refugees about international and domestic off-campus study programs.
